I got a stock aternator, and I know I should upgrade the alternator but since I just borrowing the trail blazer until I get a new vehicle (I don't see the reason to upgrade it) is it alright to put it in the or will it destroy the alternator. I've heard that sundown can run great at low voltage so that's what I am wondering.

and just an off topic which one is better to push 16 volts the 3000 model or 3500 model from sundown

The 3000 and 3500 work equally well on 16v.

It's really not a GOOD idea to run any amp on super low voltages... people do it, but it doesn't make it a good idea //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Simply adjust the amp appropriately for the electrical system you have.
