Well basically here it goes. I've got a Fi Q15 dual 2ohm and a bx1605d. due to me not using my ****ing head I didnt think about the fact that it would ethier be running at .7 or 3 not 1 or 4 ohms. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif I need some opions on what I should do. Running it at .7 should come out to be about 1 ohm..

I think it'd be okay..

You don't understand.

Nominal resistance, the minimum resistance your amp will see most of the time. Expecially after rise, it's almost higher than this all the time.

DCR (direct current resistance). This is the actual resistance at rest, when the coil is cold. Usually hover around this when measure with a DMM at rest.

Nominal impedance is all you should ever worry about.

You have a Dual2ohm subwoofer, wire it in parallel. Perfect match for the Hifonics amplifier, presenting it with a 1ohm load.

how's he getting .7 out of a dual 2ohm? I can see 1 or 4, but .7? I guess nominal does mean what it says, in name only, but it's usually higher than labeled, not lower...
