I hate cops for that reason. It pisses me off. But theres not much can be done. Cops over-abuse their power. And alot of the time, the the court will ALWAYS take the cops side, no matter what, since they are a "more credible" source.

BUT, with this being a first ticket, the court surely will let it slide or get it to a moving violation or something less.

Since when can you catch up to someone by going the same speed as them?

Traffic tix = revenue for the city. End of story.

That's why around here they're putting up what we call "Scam Cams." The cameras that take you pic when you run a red light or speed through an intersection. It's total B. S. Worst part is, it's not even an American company.

All I can say is if an ambulance is trying to get past me at a red light, he'll have to wait till the light changes. My brother-in-law got a ticket for running a light when he pulled up to let the ambulance through. F that.

So you can either pay it, or lose two days pay going to court over it. Then you may still lose. And as a professional driver I can't afford to have ANY black marks on my record. I've been driving since I was 11 years old and I only have ONE speeding ticket from 2002.

There's a reason the judge will often give you the option of paying the ticket without having it on your record. IT'S A SCAM.

in court they have to produce proof of clocking him w/ the radar going over the speed limit. if OP was so much as going 58mph in the 35 and the cop wrote down 60. OP is out of the ticket

this also applies to if the police officer does not right down the model of car you have (ie: eclipse, Tiburon) you can also get out of the ticket.. my buddy got out of one this way

EXACTLY!!! That confused the shit outta me when he said that. Like I said. I knew right there he was full of shit. And whats worse is his *** was FLYING up on me. So that proves completely that I was going nowhere NEAR his speed.

im fighting a almost 2 year old legal battle from the local PD fvcking me over

keep i mind this town is less than 3000 so they are working here since no one else will hire them

the cop that arrested me has since been fired

not because of me but because of

abuse of power and planting evidence to charge people with higher crimes or whatever

at least 50% were picked on
