i need some help...

i've got 2 problems...

1. ive got an mtx 421d amp running 2 punch2 12" subs and for some reason the amp's eq, freq, and gain are really really touchy. im not gettin the power out of the subs i thought i would. it seems like everytime i try to change the eq, freq, and gains to make it better, it only gets worse. anyone have this amp, or have the same problem?

2. i can hear the spinning of the cd through my speakers, but just the rear not the front. i grounded, wired, regrounded, rewired everything and i still can hear the noise. i changed speakers and i still hear it. Ive got a new audiobahn amp, could that be it? could it be the headunit ground? NEED HELP FAST

Do you have noise when listening to the radio, or just CDs? If you only have noise on CDs then I would suspect a problem with the deck, not with the install. If you can swap out the deck with a similar one to eliminate the suspicion...
