i need some help with setting up my system

i have one alpine type r dvc 4ohm.....i have it in a custom box running at about prolly 34 hz or so...i have the sub facing inside the car behind the passenger with the port in the back of the box facing to the side and on the drivers side....i have it running on 2 ohms with 500 watts rms....do u think i can do any better to make it sound louder....its pretty loud and louder cuz my seats come down....

1) I think you can run about 200 watts more to the sub

2) Try the sub facing different directions

If you can say what kind of car it is and how many cubic feet the box and port is some of the smarter people here can help you. Also, what kind of amp?

Type Rs will take close to 1k if you can set gains properly.

idk about them taking 1000rms each for the 12's, well then agin mine where in a 6cube box lol

1600 watts. 2.6 cubic ft. Tune low 30's.

i think mine is a little over 2 maybe 2.6 or 3 ...well its at like 34 hz i think...its pretty loud.....my friend said he ran 2000 watts to it...but i know he didnt run it really high all the time
