I need help!

OK those were the two things I heard cool cool... Now I know which one is the ground but how do you know which wire is the remote wire? and how do you really check if there bad?

remote is little blue wire that is run from the head unit or (cdplayer) if you havent run one its best to do so now any type of wire that carrys power will work as long as it turns on with the ignition i ran my from my fuse box cig liter fuse and put my toggle led switch is my center console but my cig liter turns on and off with the ignition some cars have fuse boxes in the rear if so find a fuse that is only hot whith the ignition if u have a syock head unit

i didnt instal the system so i didnt even check what gauge it is but it grounded like on the metal be4 the trunk but it doesnt look like the area was stripped down to the bare metal so that may be another issue. but will a bad ground cause the entire system to be quiet and cause the amps to not light up?

yes, your arcing somewhere, causing corrosion. corrosion travels the cable and ruin it. I think you might want to replace all of them and make sure you ground that chit to the frame, bare metal. no more than 3feet lenght for ground. If nothing at least go over all the wiring with a fine tooth comb, even RCA's.
