hey iam new to this place so ill start off with what kind of amp do i need to power my 2 18" kicker solo x 4 ohms and i dont know what kind of amp do i need so help out please.thanks

welcome to the site, and first off if you are running 2 solo x 18's, and you dont know what to push them with or how much power you need, then you do not need to have those subs. what kind of box are they going in? how big is your box? how do you want to wire them? whats your electrical like? what vehicle is this going in? will you start a build thread for this? get some pics up of your subs. if i were you, i would take it to best buy and pay them to do everything for you, and make sure you add a bunch of capacitors.

also at 14 i dont think you have the cash for that! never know though.
