Hey guys okay my MT is comming in soon its a dual .7 ohm sub and how do I wire it? I mean what is the final load after I wire the subs? And which amp is better an Orion 2500D or an 2 Orion 1200Ds bridged? thanks in advance //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif

if your asking how to wire a woofer of this magnitude, you dont deserve it. Dual 7 in parallel will yield a .35 final load; in series it will yield a 1.4 final ohm load. There are better amps in that same price range for this woofer. If you already have one orion 1200d, then get another and strap, not bridge them. That would be the cheaper route to go. Do you even have the electrical system to support a 2400+wrms daily system?

Thanks guys im going to wire it in series and get another 1200d. And I think I may have the power for it= Did big three with 4g wires (Planning to do it with 1/0), I got one Optima redtop battery under the hood, Stock alternator maybe 60-80amps? oh well only for short demos.

I think that was a little harsh.
But true.

If you're going to buy a sub on the level of an MT, you should at least know basic wiring.

Wire it in series strapped to two 1200ds.

I hope this sub doesn't end up in a sealed pre-fab enclosure. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I've got lots to learn //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif oh well anyway thanks guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

The MT will laugh at the power you are giving it. With only 80 amps of current, you arent going to be able to put an amp that can give that Sub the power it needs...Its simple physics, If you dont have the current...you cant make the power. Honestly you oversteped your boundaries...Do the right things first, Upgrade your electrical system and get a good solid amp that does 3k. Just hold your horses and keep the MT crated up for a while.
