I need help finding, 1500rms @ 4 ohms

yoa...Rezac

dont focus on a monoblock for ure application here as a mono that plays 1500rms at 4ohms is very hard to get....

soundstream has a 2 channel amp that will work well for ure application...check out the TRA1400.2.....nice solid amp for u here...kinda big...but worth it

That is an amp I was thiknin about also. I am waiting for a reply back from someone. Also, I was lookin at the tra1000, I can get it pretty cheap so I am waiting to hear back a price on the 1400. I would also like a xenon 1200.1 but I can't find many places selling them.

I can't decide on a PG Xenon 1200.1 or a tra1400.2, any ideas? I can get the 1200.1 for $300 and I can get the 1400.2 for $400, which is the better deal here?

a class A/B will be the cleaner amp to go with in this case rather than a D

the 2 channel amp ...although you wont really pick it up with your ears ....WILL play your bass sub much cleaner and accurate than a monoblock.....reasons???the THD...damping factor and signal to noise ratios in 2 channels tend to be far more superior than a mono....now....although your ears might not hear the difference...what makes you feel that your speakers are not feeling it???more distortion from a monoblock will mean the speaker getting heated quicker.....with a 2 channel..it will keep your speakers cooler because a cleaner signal is being sent....if you're asking if this is a good thing...then yess...it is...it will mean that your sub will be less liable of blowing/burning if used with a 2channel......also...if you buy a monoblock...u should be aware that you're buying an amp for bass purposes ONLY....

your monoblock will NOT be able to play mids....so upgrading in the future will mean that u gonna have to sell over that mono and invest in a bigger one...doing this will mean that you will also have to step up your mids amp as well...if you go with the 2 channel for your bassline now...then it will mean that when you're ready to upgrade your bassline then you will just have to get a monoblock and you can use this 2 channel amp on your mids so u kill 2 birds with one stone

cas, thank you.. but, if I hook up my mids to say the tra1400 wouldn't that take power away from the sub? I have mids I will power with it, the 7kv.2s.. Which I may sell for some woofers that are not so deep.. If anyone wants them, $100 for both plus shipping..

yes Rezac....its a good amp...it WILL have current draw ....i dont know exactly how much it'll make your bass suffer....in this case...you will need to invest in an additional battery and also a capacitor

u will need a capacitor as it will help this problem...because if as soon as ure bass comes in that ure system drops to 12 volts then it means that your alternator has been peaked and your system is now relying on current from your battery....

alternator supplies 14.4volts.....a battery is 12volts...so when u see the voltage drop to 12volts...it means that its really the power from your batteries doing the job now....if you have no capacitor...it will mean that your bass might lag a bit as batteries tend to respond slowly to a request in current from your system.....a capacitor is more rapid....so initially...with a capacitor....your bassline wouldn't make your voltage drop so drastically at that given moment.....

an alternator upgrade gonna costs you horse power though...so if u willing to give up some hp to accommodate ure current alternator peaking so quickly then go ahead.....if not....then use a capacitor for now.....the capacitor will maintain a steady fall in voltage when your alternator has peaked until your system's request for that extra current has ceased...(when your heavy bass line stops)...and then your system will go back relying on alternator power....until heavy bass line hits again causing alternator to peak once more, resulting in the need of 12 volt (battery) assistance....

this is my advise to you....battery and capacitor
