I had one of the "1600w" 2ch ones for about a month ran at 1ohm mono, I dunno how it did it, but it never even got hot. Gotta give it up for the amp at the price. Might wanna check out the 2ch ones, from my experience at least.

yeah i owned the gothic series 1600 watt amp my got hot when i had it ran at 1 ohm but i know another guy that has the power series 1600 2 channel ran at 1 ohm it never gets hot did u have the power series?
