Having a fast car that gets really good gas milage IS cool. Civics are like the modern day hot rod. Cheap and easy to do a lot of different things to them. I don't see whats wrong with that, besides the fact 1000000 losers have civics.

Yeah but im not one of those 100000 losers that have civics because they are cheap to hookup and go semi fast, and fuel efficent. I drive a civic because its reliable and gets me from A to B with minimal to no repair costs.

But whatever works for you is cool.

No offense, but those BMW's are one of the most expensive cars to fix period. My buddys 88' was a gas hog and ran like shit.

None taken. I love my car to death. I purchased a Bentley BMW 5-series guide that shows how to repair anything you could ever want to do with it. Of course old cars will need to be maintained, and the lack of maintenance probably ran your buddy's car into the shitter.
