I messed up big time...

Alright, so I got off work about 11:30 CST, went next door to QuikTrip, went in to purchase some 5w-30 oil for my car...and I saw it and went over to grab... and I grabbed the wrong stuff and not noticing, I opened my hood, was pouring it in and noticed it was red, I looked at the bottle...Automatic Transmission Fluid.

I don't even own a auto car, it's standard, so now I am changing my oil after I did it just last week... =(

Err, wrong answer. He drove home with the shit in his car hoping nothing went wrong. Then began to drain the pipping hot oil and go poast this.

Correct, and it was only half the bottle, but now I have the new filter on and the oil drained...to "clean" it should I run one bottle straight through??

And also my house is just around the corner.

make sure while the screw is off the oil thing, pour a little oil through it, to wash it out

hate to see a car get ruined over a mistake like that

When I got my first car, I did that. Power steering fluid in the master cylinder. I realized my mistake though, and disconnected all the brake lines and power-bled them.

Dumb mistake that I learned from.
