Maybe try Soundsplinter subs. They have very good SQ while also producing some solid SPL as well. For what you get, they are not expensive either. Just a suggestion. The Alpine Type-R's are also a good sounding SPL type sub.

1. Get a new car

thats funny........every audiobahn setup ina sealed box has either sounded like *** and or has overheating voice coils....

HOWEVER in a proper ported box by buddies 900w rms audiobahn 15 (a15somethingsomething Q ) in this box built to specs accually hits close to as hard as my XXX 15 in his montero and my 15 is in my maxima......and the SQ wasnt that bad...kinda scary....

on the flip side however...the box for my xxx was poorly built and is off......YET the xxx still sounds like hot ***.......even with the shitty box.......just waiting to get a new car then im gonna do the box RIGHT this time...........

but all in all....audiobahn has the POTENTIAL to sound good in a properly made box....although thier durability isnt there....and thier prices are outrageous from some places ive seen....i mean if u can get a good *** deal on them then audiobling subs arnt that bad if done right......but most of the time they are for idiots who pay $400 for 2 10's that are 400 rms each at the local rip you off dealer (not all dealers, but you knwo about the ones i speak of)....... ouch.......

and thier amps eat royal arshole nightly.....GOD EDQADXNMADNB)* THIER AMPS SUCKS

even though my buddies bahn 15 does sound very very nice in his montero..i;d still take my xxx15 over that ANY day

yeah I really don't care. People are going to bash me for using Audiobahn. Its stupid. Let someone run what they want and what they can afford. I see people using PYLE stuff and never have problems. Yet people still bash on them for picking up something dirt cheap that works and does what they need.

I won't bash you for owning Audiobahn. But I certainly would not recommend it to someone.

there are no back seats. my current box is 36" wide, 16" deep and 13" tall. I can go up to 25" tall and most likely 30" deep without problems.
