I think the 8455 does have a pause button....the 8454 does (though i've never used it. I just hit mute.) . Just not the 8445

How could me older 8443 model have a pause button? and your newer 8445 not? Not having a pause button is just plain retarded.

I don't think I've ever paused or even though of pausing a song in my car before.

Must admit, that is a cool feature. As for the # button, if thats what you meant not having an actual button alone of pause, then I dont have one either. #3 is the pause button, I just figured its a button I push which pauses the track im playing means I have a pause button, lmao.

How much was the 5444 when it was out? Was 220 for it a really good deal? It was between that one and the newer model that was also 220.
