I have my ma audio XE 12" in the trunk. I wanna make it louder, and I know I can do it. I need each of the 2 channels to see 2 ohms from my sub. How do I make it do this?? If each channel sees 2 ohms i can get 150x2 rms which is just 50 below my subs RMS instead of the 100x2 @ 4ohm that i am getti ng now.

that sucks..you an get some resistors to lower the impedence of each coil, but the resistor cost mucho deniero. over $200 each and i don't think they can handle the wattage of the amp that well. best thing to do is get another sub or stronger amp.

you'll get a 2ohm load of only ONE channel though. that means the other channel would be left with no load. so you're going to get less power than before.

so you want each coil hooked up to each channel, and you want it too see 2ohm on each channel?

I guess u could put it like that. I just wnat my amp to see 2 ohms per channel off one DVC 4 ohm sub.

thats only IF the amp can handle a 2ohm bridge load.
