I hooked up the pdx-1.1000 to my 2 kicker cvr10's and its really not that much louder than my old mrd-m605, if in fact it is louder. The subs seem really quiet, do you think maybe its my settings? I have the SSF turned off, the gains are about 75%, and the frequency is set at 60, the volt setting is switched to the 1.0-8.0V setting.

The sub level on the HU is full, the xover freq is set to 63. slope is FLAT and level is 0. It just dusnt seem to hit very hard.

You are not going to notice much difference in 600w and 1000w.

And 1000w is actually more than the 10" CVR's need.

Maybe the equivalent of 2 notches on the volume.

Try setting the LPF to ~80-100hz

Also, what kind of box do you have?

A good box can make a WORLD of difference.

Rule of thumb is you have to at least double your power to notice a substantial difference.

Is the LPF the same thing as the xover setting that the HU contains? When I acces the xover setting it allows me to adjust the frequency from about 20-200. It has the level setting which goes from 0 to -9 i think, and the slope setting.

The box was bought from audiooutfitters.com, im trying to locate the spec sheet. Its a dual10 downfiring sealed enclosure.

I would probably blow the cvrs with that much power, I bet it would be better to upgrade to cvx10s but i dont know if they will fit under the seat
