I liked it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Thought it was well put together. and if you cant follow the movie you need help.

want a hard to follow movie? "Donnie Darko"
yet another overrated movie.

not to mention the fact that that movie isn't hard to follow at all. all you have to do is pay attention.

What type of movies do you like out of curiosty?
Good movies. I'm really not opposed to any particular genre except horror and kids movies. Mostly I like movies that are well written, or have nice cinematography. couple of my favorites are...

Collateral

Heat(as you can tell i'm a michael mann fan)

Casino

Resevoir Dogs

After Hours

The Departed

Goodfellas

True Romance

The Shining

Full Metal Jacket

the Star Wars Series

Snatch

Fifth Element

Die Hard Series

Training Day

Any Given Sunday

and i like comedies also, but i can't think of any comedies right now that strike me as "amazing" movies. For the most part, i'll watch any movie once as long as it looks even the LEAST bit interesting.

i have a little over 300 DVDs and every dvd i've bought, i watch once normal, then i watch again with subtitles to make sure i didn't miss anything, then i watch a third time with Directors Commentary to see why they did certain things. Some of the movies I own you'd probably be like "why the hell did he buy that" and it's probably because it was like 5.95 on sale, and i'd rather pay 5.95 and have it forever, then pay 3 to rent it, just to find out i should've bought it lol.

everytime i try to watch it i get through maybe 10 minutes of it and just shut it off. i determine once again that its not worth my time. and then someone will go on and on about how great it was and i'll completly forget about my previous decision. its an endless cycle that will probably haunt me until the day i die.

i should just watch it in 10 minute chunks throughout a decade or something. because i still dont even know what the movie is about.

Dude, that's exactly how I felt about Fight Club, gawd the beginning of that movie was TERRIBLE. I honestly could have gone without hearing some dude whine about insomnia for 30 minutes, but I guess it did set the later events up. Even so, it took me like 3 tries to watch it all the way >_

I thought Sin City was fantastic. It is different all the way around. The director is very different and I cant wait to see 300!
yah..... I am chomping at the bit for 300... possibly the best story (true story, embellished visually of course) of bravery bar none...

Edited for what I think.

Overall you have good taste. Reason I asked cause was seeming like you didnt like any movie the posted. I also like both those in Donnie Darko and Sin City.

honestly the shining is the only horror movie i really like, and i think it's only due to the fact that it's a S.K film...

resevoir dogs was more for the cinematography than the plot...

true romance is really good i suggest it to everyone. Written by Quentin Tarantino, but directed by Tony Scott

and After Hours is a REALLY early Martin Scorsese flim, it's a dark comedy about a guy who has a really bad night, and it just keeps getting worse and worse in the most unpredictable/unreal ways...

and I don't dislike Donnie Darko, i've probably seen it 10+ times, i just think it's severely overrated, for it's complexity and overall quality.

yew ladys are forgetting v for vendetta

and lucky number slevin.

and labrynth

and on

and on
haven't seen v for vendetta

and i think lucky number sleven was written amazingly
