I just watched Sin City...

i'm with you. i think it's way overrated. i don't want that two hours of my life back, but i also haven't suggested that anyone else go and see it.

i only thought two of four(there were four right?) stories were interesting and that's being generous.

TBH, I didn't really care for any of them that much, but what really threw me out there was I had no clue what was going on. After the first scene, I was like "OK." And then the next little story came up and I was waiting for them to all tie in together some how, but they never really did. I guess I was expecting something completely different from the way everyone talked about it =/

All the stories some how overlapped. The movie was pretty self explanatory. Where you watching it in spanish? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Yea, the overlapped, but they really didn't have much to do with each other. Basically, there was no real "greater plot" to the movie like I was expecting. I followed everything it gave me, but I was expecting it to all fall into place at the end where like they all ended up in one big scene with this huge finale, instead I got 3 different story lines.

Plus at the beginning, I was like WTFz!

You couldn't follow the plot of Sin City? Jesus. Go and buy some worthless shit like Step Up. My girlfriend loves that shit, and you might actually be able to comprehend it.
lolz ur so coolz!

WEll it was a bit different. I kinda related it to the never ending plot of the batman series and the unholy amount of corruption that poison the progress of gotham city. So i saw alba, i saw action and it reminded me of Batsy. I liked it. I guess its not for everyone.

I liked it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thought it was well put together. and if you cant follow the movie you need help.

Like I said, it really wasn't hard to follow what was given, but they could have done a lot better for the over all storyline. I've never been a big fan of that style (I like Pulp Fiction, but I thought that was overrated too). I guess I just don't like the whole "mix all these together" type movies.
