I just spent...

Year long (unless i hate it then it might be a week) study abroad.

Faulk, anything happen with that jealous chubby Korean lad that said you were racist or something?
Naw, I have yet to even meet that chubby, bitter, tiny face giant head.

I did hear they gave him a single entry visa for a technical school instead of a multiple entry university visa though.. lol. I hope its a huge pain for him to get fixed.

I dont think i'll need a place to stay.. just a place to store my luggage if i tour the rest of Asia on my winter break.

I dont want to haul all this shit around with me, and figure i might have to use the expensive *** airport luggage storage if i cant find some sort of storage unit in Seoul.

Not sure if they have storage units in Seoul or not.

I won't forget. I'll be there before him and plan on telling everyone there what a little snitch *** bish he is before he even steps off the plane.

doubt i'll make it past the DMZ... but i could always try if i just get tired of it all.

I read Korean schooling is insanely hard. I'm a little worried that i might fuk up my near perfect GPA, but i figure if i do it will probably be worth it to have had the experience.

I figure grad schools will view the study abroad as a positive thing, even if it drops my GPA a little.

Because of the importance of the university entrance examination in determining one's career prospects, students are under intense pressure to study long hours. The high school years, especially, are a time when students have little chance to do much except study. The Korean saying "Sleep five hours and fail, sleep four hours and pass" is taken seriously; for three years students typically begin school at 6 a.m. and finish at midnight; some students finish at 10 p.m. and go to hagwons until midnight or 1 a.m. Students can forgo the 10 p.m. to midnight classes and self-study sessions but only with permission from both their parents and their homeroom teacher, and few bother to ask. The schedule lasts seven days a week and is rigorous even during periods of nominal vacation. It is not uncommon during exam periods to see students sleeping during class from exhaustion. Students are encouraged to see themselves as being in fierce competition with their friends and peers.
glad i didnt go to HS in korea.

Korea University is one of the top three universities in South Korea, one of the so-called "SKY" schools in Korea. The acronym is formed from the first initials of the three most prestigious and highly selective universities in Korea: Seoul National University, Korea University, and Yonsei University. Admissions into the universities are highly competitive because a degree from one of the SKY schools is regarded as a ticket to success and honor in Korean society currently.
Hard for Koreans to get into, but it was easy for me.

Glad i'm American.
