If you wanna call it that.
If I called you a ***, and got 20 people to believe it and follow you around a forum saying it for almost 3 years, there wouldn't be much you could do about it either. That's not a "pwn," that is an idiot looking for attention.
Audioholic is a sad low-life who "THINKS" he knows everything. And does have a lot of knowledge in car audio, but very little in matters of communication or people.
That said, he doesn't know (EVERYTHING) about ANYTHING. and there are some subjects he doesn't know shit about.
For example, he cannot give me an accurate description of why multiple sized drivers in a single installation cause cancellation. (or more than normal.)
I would almost be willing to put money on it. Keep in mind, I said ACCURATE.
So now its not just two people who remember the italian chip lie, its 20. Well at least your reality has allowed a little to seep in from the rest of ours. Some day you'll realize that story/thread, and you, have become a classic on this forum. People 'dont let go' of classics that make people laugh every time they think about them. Do people forget about Caddy Shack? That's what you are to this forum, a scene from Caddy Shack... like the kid who picks his nose and eats the booger, while this forum is the caddies hiding in the bushes, some betting on if you'll actually eat your own booger, some laughing at your booger eating antics, and the rest are just plain grossed out by you. There's just no letting that go.
I dont care if I 'pwn' you or not, but to come crying about someone else saying it is you claiming you didnt eat the booger. You ate the booger, we all saw you from the bushes. You 'pwned' yourself.
As for the speaker question, its funny how you ask this every 6 months or so, I explain, and then 6 months later you ask again as if I dont know. Your memory sucks. But just to amuse you, ill tell you again.
Speakers do not produce linear output across their entire usable bandwidth. Even in an anechoic situation, a speaker's output is erratic. Add in reflections off vehicle interior's surfaces and things get even worse. Now, couple that problem with two speakers who are not perfectly coupled (different brands, models or sizes) and that erratic response becomes even worse. Not better, not the same... worse. Even in an anechoic chamber, trying to couple unlike drivers would lead to more erratic behavior. When I informed you of this at the time, your response? You said you aligned the stars just right so that all these problems came together to actually help each other. When I asked you how you did it, you said by accident. When I asked how you knew your dumb luck created a one in a million situation, you said your ears told you. Your ears didnt hear it all come together well, your ego and your ignorance did. So now here you are, 2 years later, still trying to grasp at a thread that some how your four 10's and one 13.5 clusterf
uck was a good idea. It was ignorant, and so were you. As was the time you tried to convince us your dodge ram had a 145hp $8k Italian power chip in it. So again I ask, after how many amazingly ignorant comments from you, as you act like you are an expert and "99%" sure, should we simply stop listening to a d
amn thing you say? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Long before this thread, that's when. You seem to think you can talk out your *** whenever you want to, and it wont catch up to you. Its caught up to you, long long ago.
Now that Ive given you an 'accurate description' why it was a retarded thing to do, can you give us an 'accurate description' of why you would build such a contraption in the first place? Even if you were right and it was simply a dumb luck move that it all came together (which it didnt, but saying that for the point Im making), you had no way to know that before you built the 5-sub turd. So why did you? I mean, if you know jack shit about audio, and at the time you claimed you were your town's expert at it, why would you even attempt such a piece of shi
t install? To me, the answer is obvious. You made the classic mistake alot of noobs make, not realizing different subs/sizes in fact creates an unwanted situation, and did it out of some ignorant reason of needing 'lower' bass and 'upper' bass from the two different sized subs. Its a common mistake noobs make, but your ego wont let you just say 'yeah I was a f
ucking noob', your ego demands you argue that it some how made sense, that it worked, blah blah blah.
Let me give you an example. My first system consisted of two 10's in a ported box, and two 12's in a bandpass 20 some years ago. I was a f
ucking noobie who didnt know shit. Realizing that, and admitting it to myself, allowed me to learn. Putting an ego aside will hasten building intelligence and wisdom. Some day you'll realize that. But clearly, you have not yet. To be honest, Ive seen enough semi-intelligent things from you to know you arent stupid, you're just too d
amn caught up in your own ego to become smart, or god forbid, wise. Keep wallowing in your own self confidence based on nothing but your own feeling of being special, and see where it gets you.
As for craving attention, I find it ironic the kid who tried to convince us his dodge ram was anything more than an average pickup truck, or that his commonly flawed multi-sized sub system was special and one in a million, or that his 265hp girl-machine is a race car... is now claiming Im the one here who wants attention. News flash, I like reminding you what a pathetic lying attention wh
ore you are, for my own personal amusement. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wave.gif.002382ce7d7c19757ab945cc69819de1.gif
