Both are antidepressants my g/f use to take lexapro and now she takes a genaric(sp) brand.seems to work ok.

but mabe in your case its being uses for anxiety.

Edit indeed they do use it for anxiety, does it help you and by how much would you say?

maybe you didnt catch the subtle sarcasm in that........and yes drugs cause problems in my case i think drinking and doing illegal drugs worsened my anxiety
