I just figured out a loophole in apple for iPods (people with broken ipods come in!)

english please on the first part. And apparantly it doesn't matter, because they straight up told me over the phone that replacing the battery itself will do nothign so they are going to replace the entire thing, and they will not be charging me anymore.

I broke my ipod and i did that too for $65. It wasn't obviously messed up or anything, but the hard drive had stopped working right. It wasn't a complete lie either, because the battery only lasted a little over an hour.

I woudln't really really recommend sending one in if its smashed up, but hey, its worth a shot.
