LOL thays EXACTLY what they said, word for word. One told me they turn the gains all the way up then let it play for a while to get the subs going then slowly turn the gains down

Well then he'd be right, that is the best way.. turn them all the way up just to get them going and wait until you see smoke, thats always a good sign they are going nicely, then turn them down slowly
