isnt that game called warioware? its really has nothing to do with wario but its just a bunch of random mini games

I was thinking not, because the players looked very normal and human, whereas anything mario/wario is always bulbous and cartoony.

That's exactly what I was thinking... there's a lot of days when the reason you play a console game is just to kick back and effing relax... you don't WANT to do anything... which is why you play it.

However, if you look at Nintendo.... since the superNES w/mariokart, they've consistantly made and improved upon "party" or multiplayer games (and by multiplayer I mean in the same room). The game cube was a HUGE proponent of this... smash brothers, mario party (or wtf ever it's called)... all that stuff.

xbox is in the middle... lots of good single player games, and a handful of really solid multiplayer games, and the ps is pretty much just single player games, unless it's a 1v1 fighting game.

which is the exact reason I like the nintendo.

Only time it is in use is when several people are over drinking and whatnot.

thats argueable, the mario party games, to have 7-8 of them theres not much variety at all, and nintendo knows this yet they continue to make them because nobody else has anything like them. The Mario franchise went down hill after Super Mario World IMO. Mario 64 MarioSunshine both blew imo,

If they can make a decent new Mariogame (like new super mario for DS) and take Metroid back to 2d, as well as bring out upgraded versions of some of thier other fun stuff i can see them getting far. You canonly go for so long though off rehashes of old shit though.

if you like another FPS style ripoff, myself im tired of metroid, halo, and the 50 other FPS out there.

New Metroid isnt what main Metroid popular, the metroid where you had to defeat mother brain is what did.

I've only really played the gameboy metroid.. and I loved that one.

but either way, nintendo can be summed up in 3 games:

metroid

zelda

party games.

Everything else has had limited success, or only really has a cult group following it.
