I heard the CRAZIEST thing today!!

i was hooking up my friends system today (the 2 idqs) and on the amp, i had accidentally set the rear channel crossover to "through" and i set the front crossover to only play the lows and when we turned the power on, i heard the craziest things coming out of the subs.

i swear i was hearing cymbals, snares, guitars, vocals, everything in the song from the subs!!! And for subs it was freakin clear!! It was like an old stock system, with more bass. I was tripping out!!!

Anyone hear anything like this before coming from thier subs? i was supprised how high these subs played hehe

my brother managed to f*ck up my klipsch ultra computer speakers while I was gone, and that's all the sound came out of, full range on the twin 8's. you can have a speaker that plays 80Hz-20k well, but I've never heard of one that's a true "full range". You can get rid of the tweeter, but you still need something to pick up the bottom octaves...even most horns don't have useable response below 40Hz.
