Alright So i have two CVR 10" Kickers ready to be set up in my car,

All i need now is to buy an amp, but i don't know enough about car audio to even guess what kind of amp i would need.

The Spec's on the CVR's are

-Subwoofer (in., cm): 10, 25

-Maximum recommended amplifier power (watts peark): 800

-Maximum recommended amplifier power (Watts RMS): 400

-Frequency Response (Hz): 25- 500

So i was going to guess i need a 800w amp, but than i thought "Hey i have two, so do i double the watts?"

So basically i have no clue what i would need.

Can anyone tell me the minimum wattage amp and also the max i could buy in amps?

Also if anyone has any exact brand names or exact type of amp they would recommend me to buy, that would be very helpful.

Thanks.

Youll need to wire them like this VVVV

Id get something that does about 1000 RMS at 2 ohms so then you wont be cranking the gain...

How much do you have to spend?

I know, he'll be at 2 ohms and will get about 600 watts rms. This is just my opinion, but i honestly dont think those cvrs can handle 800 watts rms daily.

Like i said I'm new to car audio so i don't really know too much. But I'm guessing CVR's ****?

300, but if a decent amp is more i can always wait a few paychecks.
For a bit more than 300$, you can get the Soundstream REF1.1000.

A great amp, but your subs won't do it justice, the CVR's don't have the best sound quality, so I think you're better off with a cheaper amp, unless you are buying better subs in the future.

Right cuz Kicker would give the consumer a false rating and then deal with all the pissed off people when their sh;t blew //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
