So i was starting to put together my sealed box. and after realizing how much work these are (my first box) that i should just go for making it ported.

here are the dimensions:

24" deep -- 16" tall -- 33" wide.

Ive been using a sealed box so far, and i have the subs facing my rear seat in my jeep ( i found it sounds best for me that way) Is it a bad idea to put the ports facing the trunk while the subs face the front?

also, with those dimensions, what size/how many ports should i use, id plan on buying these:

And this box is for my current/temperary setup, 2 15" mtx 8000's.

I know i am limited due to choosing the box size before i thought about porting it, but im trying to get a frequency of 28-30 hz (lower if possible/recomended). my subs are plenty loud in the car, so im looking for 75% SQ. 15% SPL

I know ported boxes need to be bigger then sealed, but that box is reletivly big. I dont have the list of stats on my woofer which describe the recomended box size and such, but i know that i was taking a risk by building a sealed box this size for these subs.
