I have the chance to get a MT 18...

i can get a Mt 18 from a guy, it comes with a box and all for like maybe less than 400,

would this be louder than my XXX by a good bit or just a little?/ i would run it on just 1 a3000 for now then get another one later like maybe christmas

box is like a 6cu ft i think,

in a blazer would this be louder than someone needs for daily? i want to do a hair trick...or where people cant sit in it

I dont think many people here have experience with the MT's. I bet one will outpreform a XXX tho, they are designed for maximum SPL. Its a good deal, get it and find out! they retail for around $450 or so (without shipping), so if u can get it for less then 400, go for it.

MT's get loud but they want alote of power, id like to say that they get louder then a XXX

They would get louder than an XXX, Noah had an XXX18 and he got his MT15 and it blew the XXX18 away he said.

but i could sell my XXX and box local and almmost pay for this one

i would prolly put 1400 watts from each a3000@2ohms so in total of ~2800 is there really a too much power? 200a alt and will prolly get a yellow top or the likes

he told me it is dual 1ohm isnt RE .7dcr? will the a3000 handle that, i will do it in a series then get another amp soon]

so still 2800total rms probably just at 1ohm on each amp

so will it be more efficient?
