I read the whole thread, and some people have already touched on it a little bit. But sometimes you have to put yourself in a cops shoes. These cops have to deal with the scum of the city on a weekly basis. Plus, NO ONE likes being pulled over, so just about every person they deal with is in a bad mood, whether they truly show it or not. Kind of like the dmv, no one wants to deal with it, but some do it better than others.
After a while, as in years, dont you think you'd get sick of hearing the same crap over and over again. Your job does change you, and thats why so many cops act alike I believe. I dont think anyone here can really say they know what its like to deal with what they deal with on a regularly basis. Ive been pulled over like 20 times and have dealt with my fair share of dicks. Ive been stopped for many things, mainly fix-it tickets for driving beaters my whole life until just recently.
I also live in an area with one of the highest police per capita in the country, which doesn't help. I am just always as polite as can be, and I NEVER try to argue it then and there. There is also court to do that.
I think that the statement, "**** the police" just epitomizes your ignorance. Until someone finds a better way to enforce laws, this is the way its going to be. No reason to complain unless you have a better method of enforcing laws. We NEED the police period.
