I have saggy man *****.

I don't understand the point of *****ing about cops in this thread. They're not perfect and some can be a-holes, just like in any other job.

But you broke the law, so deal with it and move on. Learn from your experience, or keep repeating it until you do.

And who ever posted that it's only the cop's word against yours, that's all he needs, he's sworn to uphold the law. The judge will side with him 99.9% of the time unless you have concrete evidence to dispute his claims.

Do you think he needs a picture of you running a stop sign or not wearing your seatbelt???

With that said I think THE funniest shit about being a cop, since I have a few good friends that are, is that at the station they LOCK their lockers so nothing gets stolen by other cops //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

what are my chances like .?. slim to none . . . or u think he aint gonna appear? it was on cinco de mayo .

what is there exactly to say? i dont have any amplified devices of any sort??? helpP!!!!

Prowler, Thats very sad that you had to go through that BS just because of a stupid a$$ cop. I hate 95% of cops, but I like the 5% that are good not because they let me off or gave me a warning, but because they are good people doing a good job.
Me too, man. Which is why I included the disclaimer that thankfully, in my experience, the sorry-*** cops are the exception rather than the rule.

If I'm busted doing something wrong then I'm just busted and I won't give a cop any grief about doing his job. I liken it to when I was a kid and Mom or Dad caught us doing *insert random stupid kid idea here* and we got punished for it. I wasn't particularly angry for getting in trouble but rather hated that I got caught.

nop, i think you can legally go over the speed limit by 5mph .
Yes. It is legal to commit an illegal act.

Do you not see the idiocy of that statement?

More often than not most cops won't bust your chops about exceeding by 5 miles over the limit or less.

However, if you encounter the odd one who is a stickler for the law and you get written for it? Then you just get written for it.

What will happen? You fine won't be as much as it would have been if you were going faster.

This thread was meant for other people to explain similar situations they've had with the police. It's not intended for people standing up for 'justice' or how they feel about cops. So can we please stick to the topic at hand, or someone please close this thread, because fighting isn't getting us anywhere.
This is your entire problem. It isn't about YOU all the time. You posted in the "general discussion" in a public forum...deal with it. You can't force everyone to agree with you you just as you can't expect to be able to force your music on anyone near you just because you decided to have 10x as much power and displacement on your sub woofers as you did your front stage.

Like I said before. You wanted attention and you got it. Stop whining.

If you don't fight for something, you stand for nothing.
I just get pissed that cops think they can do what ever they want, and I don't know where you come from but around here they teach you to be a man and stand up for yourself. Just because society has brainwashed you your whole life trying to make you think government is good doesn't mean that everyone else has to be a puppet like you.
So, complaining about getting punished for doing something illegal is being a man? I always thought being a man/ adult meant you took responsibility for your actions.

You're not going to get much sympathy from anybody other than other kids. Being held accountable for your actions is a part of adulthood.

You want sympathy, look in the dictionary between "shit" and "syphilis".
First paragraph is so true and the second is just funny.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Listen MiniVanMan, nobody fucking asked for your opinion. There are 4897356340 other threads on this forum for your reading pleasure. Take advantage of it.. maybe someone else will value your opinion. As for me, the worthless drivel you spout from your mouth is as about as useful to me, as the pig that wrote the ticket.
Then why not name the title of the thread, only post if you agree w/ me. Part of being on a public forum is subjecting yourself to others opinions.

Running a stop sign.. pfft. I assume you just rolled through it like most everyone else does. He should have just written you a warning, in my opinion. Now if you haul *** through one, by all means, you deserve a ticket.
Why, he still broke the law? Just because it is a minor violation, does not make it better. I will be the first to admit, if you give me a inch, I want a foot and so on. If they let you off for minor things, you will push the envelope a little further next time. Maybe blasting through a almost red light and being just a little too late and T-boning someone.

Like most have said, just accept your punishment like an adult/ man and quit complaining. With an attitude like yours, you will keep getting tickets instead of just warnings.

standing up to cops is stupid as hell. they have the authority, and they will use it.

your an idiot if you try to argue with a cop. arguing makes them intent to give it to you more and harder. saying, i realize i was wrong, im sorry, it just got away from me, it wont happen again. they might let you off.

your a dumbass if you think your gunna teach a cop a lesson.

if they wanna search my truck, i open the door for them.

if they wanna search me, i empty my pockets and put my hands on the hood.

if they wanna give me a ticket, i give them my dl and paperwork and i sit there a take it.

you talk about being a man and standing up for yourself, being a man means you take what you deserve.

and standing up for yourself means dont let people walk all over you. if you deserve it, hes not walking all over you.

you pick your battles, i pick mine. maybe thats why i was let off of a $210, 6 points on the lisence, 17mph over speeding ticket, and your *****ing about a sound violation.
