I have question about Reikken HO3209 battery

I have recently purchased a Reikken HO3209 battery. I was told that I could run my sub amp off this battery alone with out having it connected to car. My first question is if I do so would I ground amp to negative battery post or car? I'm thinking battery post. Second question is can I charge this battery with any battery charger? My charger is one of those on wheels and u set amps and time so it does not sense the battery. Thank u for your time.

What? Whoever told you to run a battery without connecting it to your car's charging system shouldn't be giving advice.

You should run the additional battery in parallel with your under the hood batt. You can ground the new battery to the car or the negative post. I would suggest the negative battery posts if you don't mind dropping the money on a bit more decently sized ofc wire.
