I've taken ambien and it doesn't even make me sleepy. My dad has taken half the dosage that I have taken and was very affected by it.

When he didn't fall asleep right after taking it, he would act very drunk, couldn't even walk without stumbling, and acted very ****ed up general. Guess it affects some more than others. It's the ambien dude, it's a psychotic drug. Don't let it worry you, but maybe you need a different type of sleeping med.
