I think I voted for you (can't even remember it was so long ago) but I'm not at all surprised that there are objections to it.

Goob apparently had no knowledge of any reputation that would disqualify the elected mods from holding office. After all, he did announce the mods and state that they would take office on November 27, 2007.

Perhaps there was some post election complaining to Goob. Of course the majority of people would have felt no need to bend Goob's ear since there had been an election and Goob never indicated that a post election debate was needed.

Well, the shenanigans that a few mods did to "go out with a bang" didn't help... I think that is the real reason goob put things on hold. Not sure why for so long though.
