I have alot to learn...

I have been reading up and down this forum for what i want to do... my plan is to run a flip up HU in the stock radio location and run another 7" monitor...

I have seen just the touch screen monitors.. but i want to run mainly nav on the monitor and mainly music on the flip up... and have my flip up also have the ability to play videos on just the monitor while i use the same head unit to use for music... i dont see a sense in getting fully integrated HU's for both places...

do you see what i'm trying to ask????

what do i need to look at getting??? do they sell just a nav box that i can connect to my monitor and use the touh screen ability to choose routes???

i hope i'm not confusing anyone about what i'm asking..

i think i have found what i'm looking for.. did a bit more searching...

found my head unit.... Kenwood KVT-512 In Dash 7" DVD Player

My monitor.... Kenwood LZ702W 6.95" Monitor.. its touch screen too!!!

and then a NAV box to go to the monitor.... Kenwood KNA-G510 In-Car Navigation System....

crazy how shit works when you use the search key....

not too bad as far as price goes.... i have always liked kenwood and i want all my visible components to match...

sub will probably be a JL 10 and no clue what amp yet...
