I have a sudden urge to buy tools

Well for my graduation my Reserve unit bought me a bunch of tools. The tools are all Stanley. I stopped by the hardware department today and was lookin around and saw like a 220 piece tool kit for like 80 bux that was by Stanley.

Would you recommend anything different? I'm kind of OCD and have to have my stuff matching, so I'd like to stick with Stanley. Should I not? Anyone know of any better deals goin on right now?

Stanley, I wouldn't use that stuff if it free. I have all Snap-On. If you're on a budget you should look into either Cornwell or Craftsman. Stanley is junk.

i bought a 250 piece craftsman from sears, is pretty nice and bought a 30 piece screw driver set that was on sale there, and have been adding stuff when stuff is on sale.

i have mostly craftsman hand tools and craftsman, milwaukee and ryobi power tools. they work good for me but the stanley wrenches i had snapped when i was removing my seats

im a mac-man myself however snap-on and matco have some stuff mac doesnt so i have some of this and that as well

yea i guess stanley is more of a low end brand. I wasn't aware of this.

My dad is reccomending Mac or craftsman. He even mentioned H&K? Never even heard of them.

sk is is found on a lot of local tool trucks around here. I think they are from the southside. good stuff but i have found lots of good tools from http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/ they have good brands like hanson,ir,CP, and otc. But that website also has off brand garbage so watch what you get from there.

I've had to great luck and never rarely have to buy tools.... my dad has always had project cars to work on the weekend and is a carpenter so i've had every tool i've ever needed at home. i buy all craftsmen hand tools, some craftsmen power tools...but i really like porter cable, Dewalt power tools

Shiiiiit, i love tools!!

I just recently got a Rigid pro jigsaw, a new rigid drill and a nice 120 piece wrench and ratchet set.

I want so much more !

My dad has a ton of tools as well, but I don't plan on living with him forever, actually, only another month. So i'm going to need my own tools...
