I have a question,DMM

What is a DMM,I am think a digital multi meter but I am not sure,I hear people talkin bout using them to set thier gains.If it isnt a digital multi meter, where can i find one?How do I use on to set the gains?

Raisedin that was helpful,but I think it is worthless just do it by ear

I do my gain settings by ear, but you do need a DMM to set it correctly, there is many uses for a DMM beside that though. You can use it to check you voltage, impendance load, and other things. They do carry at Wal-Mart, but they are not the greatest. It will get the job done though.
