i have a prob with my amp...

ok so heres the deal...plug rca's into input and amp wont turn on...i plug one or both into output andit turns on but very little cant even tell bass from sub do i need a y connector for it to work or whatsup? its a hifonics brutus bxi 1606d amp

Plug the rca's into the output. turn up the bassboost to 1/4 and see if you that works out better.

Make sure you have the red/white rca's in the right slots in the back of the head unit

if the amp is on is the green power light on it bright or dim

It means that power light is fine, not amp
