i have a noob question...

ok i know a decent amount about car audio but i do have one noob question...

ok say you got a tweeter rated say 75 watts rms

and a midrange rated 150 rms

and both speakers are say rated at 88 db's

and you bi amp them each matching their power ratings exactly... would the midrange play alot louder than the tweeter or am i missing something?

power rating does not equal how loud something will be

edit:

now this does not mean some sony explods rated @ 450 rms, will be as loud as some digital designs 9515's being fed their rms ... but you get the picture

if you give your mids double the power, then you give the tweeters, your mids will be about 3 db louder.... muhahaha
