I have a Kicker ZX700.5 and

my box won't be done until Saturday, and I'm about to take out my MMATS amps and put this one in. I won't have the subs playing until Saturday. My question is. Will I be doing any damage hooking this up, but only using the 4 channels for door speakers and not using the sub channel. Thanks

Anyone know if this sub channel is stronger than the 425 x 1 it's rated?

It certainly is. What does your birth sheet say? My KX700.5 gives me closer to 500 x1 @ 2ohm.

I got it off ebay, so there wasn't a birthsheet with it. From what I read it's a pretty good amp. Do you know if I'll damage the sub channel if it's not used for a couple days?

The ZX's usually birth around 950rms, so that would put you right around 500 x1 @ 2ohm.

I'm not sure what you mean, but if you are asking if using the speakers outputs and not connecting the sub will damage the sub channel, then no. I currently am using my speaker channels (bridged) and do not have a sub connected and it is fine. The sub channel will still work.
