I have 600w @ 2 ohms, what should I do

i'm looking to do somewhat of a budget setup just cause I'm a college student. I had a ascendant audio assassin 8" which I loved, but I've burnt the coil up and now I have nothing.

My amp is a crappy sony, but it seems to put out its actual rated power. Its 300@4ohm, and 600@2. I don't necessarily want to keep the amp, but I don't know if I can afford another.

Anyways, recommend me a sub! I love 8's, but would be willing to go bigger. Maybe Fi or TC? Not sure what will sound good in my power range.

I'd say my budget would be somewhere under $250. If I found something incredible then I might spend more but $250 is probably my max as of now

Yeah, I know eD doesn't have the best rep around here... but that's a lot of sub for $70. Oh well, just thought I'd mention it.

how bout a cerwin vega vmax? got mine for about 110. it hits pretty hard but not so good on sq.

depends how big you wanna go i got an SE15 laying around that will surely beat any of the others subs mentioned on the power that you have. great sq and pretty good spl and on a whole nother level then that Assasin 8 that you had. PM me if your interested
