I sold my RE SX because I needed the money. I want to put my adire audio shiva 12" in it's place.

The amp that powered the SX is 880watts rms @ 4ohms (two channels). I believe the shiva is 8ohm dual coal, so if I ran it in parrallel it'd be 4 ohms.

How should I wire this thing up? Will the shiva be able to handle all 880 watts without exploding? Should I just give it one channel?

you said its a two channel. what are your amp specs? you gave us the 880 @ 4 ohm, but what are full amp specs, and what model sub is it?
