I hate to have to do this, but....

Thieroff, sounds good. only problem is matching up a time. Lemme know when you're free and I can try and accomidate.

If I post my schedule, it'll be too ****ed up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

T3mpest, I forgot about the avas.

bigbangtheory, not so sure I want to get on the fi bandwagon. I don't have anything against them, just not sure if I want to go that route.

B_Campbell, care to elaborate the differences between v1 and v2 beside the obvious, you know, being a completely different subs.

If you want low and loud there's not much better than the TC subs, they are made to be flat to 20 hz. So hitting 30 or whatever for car audio is a breeze.

Same for the RL-p or S. They are made by TC and also get low.

My TC-1000 12" in a sealed box gets to 30 hz pretty well, in a low tuned ported box I know it would wang hard to 20-25 hz if I wanted it to.

Space is a liberty, so I don't know how big I will be able to go ported. I have my tire well and will maybe have 3^3 total sealed with a false floor.

I didn't even think about the fact that the 18 was only made in v1's. In that case, they'd drop off the radar for me, I'd rather have a 13w6v2 than an 18v1. I'd still say the ava is your best bet, 200 dollars, seriously, 200 dollar supersub!

Its looking better and better every day! Time to throw it in some models and try and figure how it'd perform of ~700w and ap.

what? They make an 18"?
In any event I think a Mag would be way sexier, especially a 15.

EDIT: Oh an older w6. Well it would be cool to run that in one respct, that few run them old school woofs right now, but I would think the 15 mag would be better. I would run the 18w6 over a 12" mag, but I would really try for a 15 mag.

when modeled for in car response, the 18w6 has a flatter and more extended output, as well as lower qtc than a sealed 15 mag. I didn't like ANY of the responses a ported mag gave, 12 or 15.
