I hate pepboys.

I know. I know. The kid said he wants power. So I'm going to show him the power... That sounds like some line from a movie, oh well.

I have no intention of allowing the amp to put out that much power. He wants it just for show. I told him he's going to get his shit stolen. Anyway, I'm forcing the upgrades 'cause in the end, he'll probably be running power that requires them anyway and I'd rather see him do what he needs because it's needed now as opposed to cause and effect later. I agree it's a little dubious.

Sbcaprice, maybe I am ignorant but sarcasim is a second language to me, and I don't understand the sarcasim in your post.

I make no sugguestions for wiring as I've never worked with that sub or amp, but there's no chance in hell I'd wire any amp to 0.35ohm for a daily driver(unless it's a tube amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ) .

Anyway, the guy at pep boys sounds like he was trying to help out. The entire case of an amp is the heatsink and better airflow around a heatsink is ALWAYS good as anyone into PCs will tell you. Just go back and tell whoever's there what happened and that you want a yellow top. Hopefully they'll take care of you.
