I hate parking...

So I the dealership where i work has no available parking for employees. And the area for square mile around it is 2 hour parking. And you can't park in the huge shopping center because your car will get towed... So i have no choice but to drive around for 5-10 mins to find a spot and see if it opens up. I park in 2 hour almost every day.

Today i get out to my car after work. TWO PARKING TICKETS...

no wait.

1 ticket at 3:30

violation 1 is 2 hour parking 28$

violation 2 is no front plate. $30

2nd Ticket at 4:33

WINDOW TINT $30

HOW THE HELL. i owe $90 because of this **** place and i only make 8/h right now. So i worked a half day after school and made like $40 and got $90 in parking fees. how the hell do they even give out tint and license plate tickets...

bay area, california....

Only becuase my car stands out from everyone else...And the streets i have to park on are far enough away where i cant hear my alarm or get to it even if i had 2 way. And they have break in's in that area all the time...

thats why i took my front plate because it got stolen before

and for obvious reasons its tinted.

I am only there until august when i go uti. But i started a few weeks ago so i could get experience and build a relationship with the company so i can back and work as a technician.

Get a Utility looking truck with a boom crane and a rotating beacon light on top, park in the middle of the road and make it look like your working for the telephone company, works (almost) everytime.

I'm willing to bet its because it just screams class and elegance. Stories have probably spread of a treasure trove of rolex's and the like resting in the trunk.

well lucky your not in NY .. for the 2hr parking .. it cost 60$ in NY .. $115 for double parking or parking near a fire hydrant .. and $45 for not moving your car while its street sweeping day..
