i just got to hear my friends new system (2) 12" W6v2's in what looked like a 4-5ish cube box ported and a memphis 5 chan amp (the 75x4, 1100x1) in a 4 door jimmy, and dear god that shits loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif ... it literally made my vision blurry when he turned it up all the way,

just makes me mad, his system totally dominated my 2 L7's on 1300ish watts in every single possible way... if i still had my system installed he could complety drown me out inside my car with my windows up thats how ungodly loud it was ...

yep trunk car, 2003 taurus. sound deadening helped me like 110% it was like a day and night diffrence as far as loudness and SQ, take out your rear fill, you don't need it, you can port your rear deck, just make sure what you take out isn't structural.. seat fold down? do that, mine doesn't //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

theres lots of ways to get loud in a trunk car, you can be just about as loud as any SUV out there, it's just a little bit of a challenge and you have to be creative, try diffrent box setups too, upfiring does well in my car for some reason.

as far as being loud number wise, not sure, never got it metered. but it was very loud, louder than most of the SUV setups at my school at the time.

And I have back seats taken out and subs firing forward. however, my trunk is not sealed from the cab, or other (had an wreck a long time ago, so theres no air seal at all), which I think would make a huge difference. My back doors have also lost their seal. Just running a hose over the top, and the water just runs in
