My parents spanked me and I remember saying the same thing about calling the cops. I hated that they spanked me but now that I look back on it I know for a fact I was a little rotten bastard so I think I'm kind of glad they did. I may have turned out worse if they didn't, lol

Dr Spock had good intentions, but his conclusions and popularity really fucked up our society in some pretty fundamental ways. Kids need to be spanked sometimes. To remove that from their development really gives children a lack of discipline, lack of respect for authority, and a sense that they can do just about anything they want. Its a huge part of this sense of entitlement several of us have been talking about here that kids today have.
