Today I was going to do my 2 grounds in 1/0. Well once I have one of the grounds cleaned up and ready to go I decide to take the positive terminal off to clean it up a bit. Once I was done cleaning and tried putting the fvcker back on, the bolt stripped itself out or whatever like a side post normally does:verymad: After a while of messing with it, I couldn't get anything to work so now its as tight as it can go without the bolt becoming loose again and I can honestly move the positive wire around. I was running short on time so I just re-attached my old ground wires to the clean surfaces and hooked the negative terminal back up hoping that my truck would start so I could get it home so I could get ready for work. I go to start it and it doesn't even hesitate the least bit and I was very confused. Before hand at idle it was sitting around 14.39-14.4v, now it sits at 14.49-14.5v at idle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused: How the hell does a loose positive cable give me a boost in voltage lol. The battery terminals also wont connect with the 1/0 ring terminals under the battery cable, BTW I hate side terminals

I know what you mean man. I have the same **** problem, but the rubber shit usually just gets in my way which pisses me off. I plan to change the terminals and cutting that rubber shit off someday when I get a chance.
