I Hate Ford Rangers

Can any one help design me a box for my friends ford ranger. Im trying to do the box for his truck. He likes to have the seats just about all the way back (reclined and scooted). The box is for one 10 in XXX. The old style (05's). Ported to 35 HZ. I can design boxes but this thing is a PITA. It a 2005 BTW. Thanks, Andrew

Reg cab or ext?

my thoughts exactly......there is no way for a 10xxx to fit in a reg cab....i should kno i have one

I wouldn't say that, my current design would allow a 10 XXX to fit. Just have to think a little harder when planning.

You think so?.......I had 3 10w3's back there last year and that was a tight fit....I would say that anything with over 5.75 mounting depth is gonna compromise a little legroom....but who knows if you find some way then i may use it for my Q 12's

i think its an extended cab because it has the doors that open up

Yea, I'm hoping to be able to fit a 12 DP (if I can ever find one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif ) behind the seat.

Thats a rough idea of my design, its a downfiring, fixes the problem of mounting depth but the seat has to be fairly far up. I'm 6.3 and still have plenty of room though.

^^ is why. Stupid ford, idk why they put that there, just makes trouble for me...

Also i'm figuring out what my max mount depth is as we speak, so if you curious i'll post it later..

yea its just that he puts his seats all the way back which kills air space...

like 48 in wide. 13 deep on the bottom. and 24 in tall im not sure how deep on the top because of how far he puts his seat back...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
