Yeah, they say it needs to withstand a 4 ft. drop. Throwing it in a box full of peanuts isn't quite enough for that. 4 post crate with plywood top and bottom. Foam on top of the cone, then fill the sides with more foam/peanuts.

Or, you can have the UPS store package it themselves, then if it does get broken they can't pull that "not packed good enough" shit. They did it themselves.

so how do you handle them now? since you are no longer a virgin there. Do you toss them around like the rest of the people now?
Loading and unloading trucks goes at an extremely fast pace at times, so that's something you have to understand. When it gets too fast, you just have to knock shit off the belt so you don't get too far behind.

Large, heavy stuff that can be tossed around, I toss them safely, NOT throw. I do that to save any stress on my back because some stuff we lift is extremely heavy. Smaller heavy packages like something that looks like a standard 12" xxx box,I place with care. Why would I do that? Because I do a lot of selling and buying over the internet, and I don't want any of my stuff getting messed up.

PS: UPS sucks, I've heard from other people and I've been to an orientation and seen their salaries/benefits.

That really sucks. I don't mind FedEx because the last thing they delivered (my XXX) got to me on Saturday, would have had to wait 2 more days with UPS

I have somewhat similar experience (unloading trucks at walmart) and i can say that i'm surprised they don't break more things in the shipping process...
we're rough on boxes, so i can only imagine what goes on at fedex/ups/dhl, etc...

UPS/FedEx etc.. good job for students .. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif .. get alot of your college money back..
