i gotz me some efficient powerz!!

which i cant seem to find with a minimalistic drive bay cover and a side window with the other case features i want //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

If i have to give something up, it will be the drive bay door.

i havent had any problems with the case or my thermaltake psu. case is sweet, built nice, only complaint is the front blue power light is bright! its like a night light lmao

was my first attempt with thermaltake, got it a few years ago, still going strong

ya but even black drives never match the case perfectly. I used to paint everything myself, but i dont really have the indoor space for it anymore and it's too **** cold to do it in the garage.

I'm glad you like your case, but like i said i wont ever buy thermaltake again. I got some **** fans and a **** fan controller long ago that was such junk they ruined their chances with me. I mean it was such utter crap that i'm still bitter about it nearly a decade later :p

G for it...not a bad card just a bad price hha....what about ram? How many gigs? Also the v8 is the best cpu cooler...and what cpu?
8 gigs of Corsair XMS and the V8 is not the best cooler. I picked a Thermalright Silver Arrow which is overall a bigger, better and quieter HSF.

if i can manage to not order something else before they begin shipping again i want a i7 2600k with a p8p67 deluxe board... or maybe the maximus extreme ROG board //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Intel to Start Shipping B3 Stepping Cougar Point Chipset from February 14Intel seems to have fast-tracked its Cougar Point chipset flaw rectification. The silicon giant claims that it will be in a position to start shipping B3 stepping of Cougar Point chipsets (Intel P67, H67, etc,) from 14 February, to OEM partners. According to the latest PCN (product change notification), number 110456-00 dated 2/9/2011, Cougar Point B3 will carry the following changes/features:

Revision ID will change from 04h to 05h

BIOS Update (Revision 1.1.4 of the BIOS Specification Update and Reference Code)

B3 stepping package is pin compatible with B2 stepping package

Minor metal layer change from B2 to B3 improving lifetime wear out with no changes to functionality or design specifications

Of the above, the last bullet point affirms that the SATA 3 Gb/s port defect issue, which caused physical parts of the chipset to wear out abnormally fast, degrading performance, is resolved.

Hard to go wrong with an asus board //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would not buy that EVGA gtx 570 as the new series is just around the corner. Plus ATI is just bout to release there new cards.
there is always something new right around the corner.. AFAIK there might be a 590 fairly soon but i dont want a dual GPU card... same goes for the somewhat soon 6990... besides both of those cards will be very expensive.. not worth it IMO.

It really comes down to a 570 or 560 for me.. and looking at the benchmarks i'm sort of leaning toward a 560 now just because the extra 10 fps that comes with a 570 probably isnt worth the $100. I'd probably be better off with a 560 now and then adding another in SLI when 1 doesnt cut it and the prices have dropped.

That and a 570 will run pretty much everything you need, performance nowadays often out-performs anything you can throw at it, unless you're doing some serious super-high resolution gaming
